If you can get yourself to the corner of Booringa Road and Great Ocean Road in Princetown in Victoria, Australia, you’ll be in the Port Campbell National Park. And you’ll see just where Florida Georgia Line shot their new video for “H.O.L.Y.”
But even if you can’t go to this treasured 12 Apostles landmark, the duo kind of takes you there with the new behind-the-scenes video they shot when they were down under.
Just like Brian Kelley says, “Goosebumps, man.”
The scenery and the song will both take your breath away from the minute Kelley and Tyler Hubbard jump on a helicopter to get there.
When Hubbard’s playing a grand piano on top of a cliff and saying it’s a dream come true, Kelley is off to the side watching him play.
“We’re on the edge of the world, basically,” he says, adding that it is a very spiritual place. “No better place to shoot this video.”
The 12 Apostles are the stone stacks created by 20 million years of erosion of the limestone cliffs of the mainland. And while they are not technically named after the biblical disciples of Jesus, seeing them in this video does make you have faith in some kind of higher power.
Kelley’s wife Brittney Marie Cole makes an appearance in the video, too, as director TK McKamy explains that the concept of the music video is about showing the ultimate gratitude for their wives and the way they represent the family banner.
