Sundaze goes #1 to radio!!!

Florida Georgia Line’s “Anything Goes” is two-for-two when it comes to producing country radio charttoppers.

Sunday evening, Mediabase officially recognized the duo’s “Sun Daze” as the #1 song on its country radio airplay chart. The song seizes the throne from Luke Bryan’s “I See You,” which drops to #3 after two weeks in the top spot.

In addition to receiving the most Mediabase chart points during the February 8-14 tracking week, “Sun Daze” was also the country format’s most-played song (~7,754 weekly spins) and most-heard song (~55.74 million weekly audience impressions). The song’s victory in the latter bodes well for its possibility of claiming #1 on Billboard’s audience-driven version of the Country Airplay chart; that listing will be revealed Monday.

The aforementioned “Make Me Wanna” received ~7,542 spins and ~54.34 million audience impressions during the tracking week.

“Sun Daze” follows lead “Anything Goes” single “Dirt” in becoming a #1 hit on the Mediabase country airplay listing. While it did not get there as quickly, it still got to the impressive #1 position in an impressively short amount of time.

The song becomes Florida Georgia Line’s sixth chart-topper overall. Beginning with “Cruise,” every official FGL single but “This is How We Roll (featuring Luke Bryan)” went to #1.
